Terms

ClipBrook holds no account, no payment and no data of yours, so there is little here to set out.

The service

ClipBrook is free and provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind. It is a tool that runs on your own computer. Whether a given image cuts well depends on the image, and no particular result is promised. The site may change or shut down without notice; the cutting engine would remain available as open source.

The tool takes files up to 8192 px on a side and 80 MB each. Anything larger is refused with a message on its own row, and a file that fails to cut leaves the rest of the batch running.

Your files

Your files stay yours. Cutting an image here grants ClipBrook no rights in it, and since your images never leave your browser, there is nothing on any server to claim rights over. You are responsible for the images you cut, and for whatever license terms your image generator attaches to its output. ClipBrook cannot check those for you.

The code

The cutting engine, the @clipbrook/core package, is open source under the GNU AGPL-3.0. If you use or change it, that license governs, not this page; the open-source page has the details. Everything else on this site, the text, the design, the guide pages and the images, is not open source and may not be republished as your own.

Limits

Do not use the site for anything illegal, and do not attack it. If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable where you live, the rest still stands.
